Intersections Film Series: “An Injury to One”
January 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
Join Penn State Sustainability for its first 2025 screening in the ongoing Intersections sustainability film program. An Injury to One looks at the intersections of workers’ rights and environmental sustainability by exploring the true story of the murder of labor activist Frank Little in Butte, Montana, who was fighting to improve working conditions for copper miners, and connecting it to the ongoing environmental contamination from the copper mine that still plagues Butte over 100 years later. The film is experimental, original, and unique in style but compelling and unforgettable. Following the film, we will feature an expert panel discussion organized by Penn State’s Center for Global Workers’ Rights.
Screening and panel are online and free and open to all. Pre-registration is required at this link.
