Join the Sustainability Institute online, Fridays at noon for our signature Sustainability Showcase Speaker Series, this year themed around the idea of “Driving It Home” — taking the big-picture sustainability issues and driving them down to the local and personal level. On March 25, we are joined by BaoBao Chen and Tim Cole, two of the artists behind Small Island, Big Song, a celebration of the Pacific Islander cultural diaspora through music, dance, and film. The program will be coming in-person to Penn State’s Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 7, but the organizers will join us for this event to discuss their work and the threats to many island nations and their cultures posed by climate change and sea level rise.
