GreenGov Webinar: Keystone State Challenge Academy: Army National Guard Program Helping PA Teens Graduate
April 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
Join Penn State Sustainability and Pennsylvania’s GreenGov Council for the latest webinar in their ongoing series. In April, we are hosting “Keystone State Challenge Academy: Army National Guard Program Helping PA Teens Graduate.” Learn how the Army National Guard at Pennsylvania Fort Indiantown Gap is supporting high schoolers in danger of not graduating. The Keystone State Challenge Academy (Academy) is a tuition-free program for Pennsylvania teens (age 16-18) with the mission to achieve self-discipline, education, and skills necessary to succeed as productive and responsible citizens. The Academy offers a 22-week on-campus cadet training program with continued mentorship. Join in to hear from cadets who recently graduated!
The GreenGov webinar series is in its sixth year and offers 6-8 monthly webinars per year aimed at a broad audience of state and municipal government staff, non-profits, businesses, university faculty, and students who are interested in learning more about the breadth of sustainability and about sustainability initiatives and successes happening across Pennsylvania. The series spotlights innovative programs and partnerships that are building more resilient, economically sound, and livable communities across the Commonwealth.
