Join Schuylkill Sustainability and the Penn State Schuylkill Arboretum in learning more about trees at our first Tree Tender Training on October 5, 2023, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This half-day workshop is designed to help educate the the public about tree biology, tree planting and maintenance. We ask that attendees register at Tree Tender Registration.  Anyone with an interest in trees and their basic care should consider attending this event, which is free and open to faculty, staff, students, and the general public. The event will be held at the Penn State Schuylkill campus, 200 University Drive, Classroom building, C101, the Fryer Conference Center from 9am to 12pm with a weather-dependent outdoor training right after the session.
