Join the Sustainability Institute online, Fridays at noon for our signature Sustainability Showcase Speaker Series, this year themed around the idea of “Driving It Home” — taking the big-picture sustainability issues and driving them down to the local and personal level. On February 11, we will be joined by artist Amie Bantz for a conversation about her “Lunchbox Moments” exhibit, currently appearing at the HUB-Robeson Galleries on the Penn State-University Park campus through May 15th. Bantz’s exhibit provokes conversations around the power of stories to name and address anti-Asian discrimination, focusing on the common stories of Asian American youth being ostracized at school lunchtimes over their food choices.
