In recognition of Earth Day, the Facilities Department at Hershey Medical Center will host a campus tour on Friday, April 21, at the waste processing and central plant. This event is open to both Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health employees.

The tour will provide a behind-the-scenes look at how the Facilities Department manages various waste streams and recyclable materials, as well as the innovative projects the department has undertaken to make the Hershey Medical Center campus more energy-efficient and sustainable.

Limited spots are available and volunteers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific tour details will be provided via email to those who register. Click here to sign up by Wednesday, April 19. This event will be held rain or shine.
