The Student Farm will be hosting a weekly discussion of Braiding Sweetgrass starting Wednesday, January 26 at 9 a.m. at Abba Java Coffeehouse. Braiding Sweetgrass is a dive into traditional ecological knowledge, Indigenous stories, natural history, botany, heritage, and much more! All are welcome to attend. The author, Robin Wall Kimmerer, will be giving a virtual talk hosted by Centre Reads on March 2nd. The book has 5 sections, so the group will meet once per week (1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, and 2/2) leading up to the author’s virtual visit.
