Anderson Endowed Lecture Series — Artist Mohamed Labat

Join Penn State’s School of Visual Arts for its latest John M. Anderson Endowed Lecture Series talk by artist Mohamed Sleiman Labat. Labat is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and writer, born, raised, and based in the Sahrawi refugee camps in southwest Algeria. He is the founder and director of the community art space Motif Art Studio, a creative hub for art and education in Samara Camp.
The talk is free and open to all, Wednesday, April 2, at 3 p.m. in Foster Auditorium in Paterno Library on the Penn State University Park campus. The event will also be screened virtually at this link.
