Join us for the Soundings water film series co-presented by Penn State’s Sustainability Institute, Penn State’s Water Council, and WPSU. This series explores the intersecting issues surrounding water conservation and the innovative research and policy solutions addressing these issues around the world. This fall we will be screening the three-part series H2O: The Molecule That Made Us, with each screening followed by a panel discussion moderated by Penn State faculty and featuring researchers and experts from around Pennsylvania and the world.

On Wednesday, November 17, at 7 pm (EDT) we will screen Part 3 — Crisis and discuss Solutions to Water Challenges. Our post-film panel features:

  • Kevin Donhoff, Resource Implementation Section Manager, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
  • Kate Fitzpatrick, Executive Director, Deschutes River Conservancy
  • Lara Fowler, Penn State Law and the Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment

All screenings and discussions are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.
