Due to the forecast rain, the event on Saturday, June 24 at the Arboretum at Penn State has been cancelled.

Pollination Celebration is a free, family-friendly event held during National Pollinator Week at The Arboretum at Penn State. Volunteers including Penn State researchers, Master Gardeners, and local environmental organizations invite visitors to discover Pennsylvania’s pollinators and plants through science, art, and hands-on exploration. This year’s theme is Flower Power; this groovy 60’s/70’s inspired message illuminates the power of planting flowers for a bright future for pollinators and the local community.

Enjoy a performance of Pollinators! The Musical., a 30-minute puppet show of pollinator stories and songs, in the Childhood’s Gate Children’s Garden at 11 am and 1 pm. Pollination Celebration is presented by the Center for Pollinator Research, Penn State Extension Master Gardeners, the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden, and The Arboretum at Penn State.
