The Spring 2022 Expo serves as a way of showcasing the power of the arts to evoke emotion and convey the complexity and intersectionality of the issues that make up the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Inspired by the multimedia performance, Small Island Big Song, which will be presented by the Center for the Performing Arts on April 7th, this year’s expo will focus on the themes explored in their performance. More specifically, we have invited students to create work that unpacks issues around climate refugees, Indigenous knowledge, ocean conservation, water rights, and other related social justice issues.

The expo will take place on Friday, April 1st from 4-7pm and Saturday, April 2nd 11am-2pm in the Arts District at University Park. We invite you to stop by to view student submissions, and participate in some art making yourself.
