The First-Gen Community Celebration is an annual event recognizing and celebrating Penn State’s graduating first-generation students and their achievements. This celebration brings together students, supporters, and the campus community to honor the impact and success of the first-gen community.

Graduating students from the University Park campus who are completing their degrees in May 2026 are invited to participate in this year’s celebration on April 14 at 6:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Light refreshments will be provided.

This form serves as your RSVP and commitment to attend the celebration. Please complete the form in its entirety by April 7th. 

Students are encouraged to dress in casual attire. Graduates participating in the celebration will receive a first-gen graduate recognition pin. You must be present to receive the pin.
