Penn State is conducting two campus waste audits in April, on the 8th and 15th, and we are inviting faculty, staff, and students to participate as volunteers. This opportunity is designed as both a hands-on learning experience and a sustainability service activity. Volunteers will assist with supervised waste sorting and observation while learning how everyday disposal decisions affect recycling outcomes and contamination rates on campus.

Details are as follows:

• Katz Building – April 15, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants may sign up for one or more one-hour time blocks. Training and safety guidance will be provided both on Zoom and on-site.
