Plant trees at Penn State Harrisburg! Join students, faculty, and staff, along with volunteers from Pepsi, on April 22 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. – or until all 80+ trees and shrubs are planted and mulched.

In alignment with the Sustainable Landscape Implementation Plan, grove and understory plantings of native trees and shrubs, selected for their medicinal properties, will be installed. Faculty plans include experiential learning about the trees and research, ensuring students will continue to learn about and engage with the plantings.

Volunteers will be provided gloves, tools, and refreshments and are encouraged to bring their own water bottle to fill on site.
