The College of Health and Human Development’s Sustainability Research Grant supports greater faculty engagement in sustainability-focused research at Penn State and beyond. The program offers $10,000 seed grants for early-stage projects led by interdisciplinary teams of junior and senior researchers addressing health and wellbeing through sustainability-related topics. Areas may include climate adaptation, environmental and social justice, pollution, food security, biodiversity, technology, and related issues. The principal investigator must be housed in HHD. Proposals are due April 15, with review completed and awards announced by June 1. Projects run from July 1 through June 30.
