The Borough of State College, State College Borough’s Sustainability Department, and the Center for Alternatives in Community Justice (CACJ) are holding the third event in their 2024 Community Conversations Series. The topic will be: “Climate Action & Resiliency: A Global Topic Viewed Through A Local Lens.”
Community Conversations are quarterly community building dialogues that help to spread awareness and restoration on a variety of matters in Centre County. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 4, 6-8 p.m. at the State Theatre in State College. Light refreshments from Webster’s Bookstore and Cafe will be available.
The event will feature:
-60 minute panel discussion with local experts
-10 minute intermission
-50 minute group discussion (audience & panelists) focused on community understanding and action
Free and open to all to attend; pre-registration not required.
