Summer Solstice Celebration at the Student Farm

June 6, 2018

Enjoy the Summer Solstice Celebration with live music, fresh food and good company at the Student Farm at Penn State on June 21, the longest day of sunshine all year! From 6 to 8 p.m., engage with other farm-goers, take a tour of the farm, visit our community partners’ tables, or just relax and enjoy the music.

State College-based Taste Buds Kitchen food truck will be on the farm selling fresh and flavorful food. Guests are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner. Hometime, a local band, will provide the musical entertainment.

The event is free and open to the public. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs and wear sturdy shoes. We ask that people do not bring pets, to ensure food safety of the produce grown on the farm. In the unfortunate case of inclement weather, guests should check the Student Farm Facebook Page for updates.

This is the second annual Summer Solstice Celebration hosted by the Student Farm, and we are excited to extend the invitation to all. This event hosted over 200 people last year, and we hope to see you there!
