Seminar: "Our Environment, Our Health: An NIEHS Perspective with Linda Birnbaum"

Linda Birnbaum, director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and National Toxicology Program, has spent more than 35 years researching, evaluating, and educating the public on risks associated with hazardous environmental exposures. She will discuss the impacts of global environmental health, what it means for our local families and communities, and 21st century environmental health challenges such as climate change, arsenic exposure, and persistent organic pollutants.



Additionally, a poster presentation on health and the environment and a reception will follow the lecture.

Undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, and faculty are invited to submit their posters for this special event.
