EXTENSION WORKSHOP, Luzerne County: Home Water and Septic System Workshop

Wells and springs supply water to some residents of Luzerne County. These residents also rely on on-lot septic systems to treat and dispose of their wastewater. This workshop will provide information on protecting, testing and treating private water supplies. We will discuss septic system inspection and maintenance. Learn how to protect your health, your property and our shared groundwater and surface water resources.

Free, but pre-registration required The workshop registration for either the afternoon or evening Dallas workshop location is at https://extension.psu.edu/home-water-and-septic-workshop and click on Dallas under where & when. Or call 877-345-0691 to register by phone Free Drinking Water Testing Free drinking water testing will be provided for up to 60 registrants. Results from simple test can help guide you in future testing by accredited labs. Sample collection instructions will be provided to registrants. Support provided by the Master Well Owner Network grant from PA DEP and PGWA.
